I started “Muah!” because I wanted to create a space where people feel empowered to truly love themselves. As a girl in her twenties, I’ve quickly discovered that self-love isn’t always easy; there is so much I wish I’d known going into this decade, and that’s exactly what I’m here to share with you. This blog is a little all over the place—much like me!—but that’s what makes it so real. You can expect to hear my rants, hot takes, and life updates, alongside the books and music I’m currently obsessed with. Society often hyperfixates on the idea that we need a relationship to be happy (and I’m definitely guilty of this too), but while there is nothing wrong with being in love, you have to be in love with you before you can love anyone else. To me, “Muah!” means loving yourself to the max. You deserve to take yourself on a date, you deserve to buy yourself flowers, and you deserve the world—no matter what anyone else says.
